A portrait is a collaboration between the artist and client. Whilst I work from a photo to create your artwork, I like to have several more as references to enable me to get a sense of the subject. I encourage any input you may have to help capture the spirit and personality of the person I am painting as well as a likeness. Throughout the process I'm more than happy to keep you up to date and before the painting is considered finished, I will always send you an image to allow you a final chance to suggest any changes you'd like made. I take pride in working closely with you to create an artwork that you and your family can treasure for years to come, so it is imperative for me that you are completely happy.
